Dr. Manjeshwar Shrinath Baliga, Senior Radiobiologist and Incharge of Research at MIO attended the international conference BIOETHICON conducted at Chennai from November 7th to 10th 2019. He presented a paper “Ethical dilemmas in oncology-opinion of oncologists and non oncology medical doctors” in the oral presentation section. Mangalore Institute of Oncology is a centre for Bioethics Education & Research Unit of the UNESCO Chair in Bioethics and is actively pursuing studies on the aspects of ethical issues in cancer care and treatment.
