Mangalore Institute of Oncology conducted a CME for the family doctors of Mangalore on Saturday, October 15th 2022 at the IMA House, Attavara with the support of Indian Medical Association Mangalore branch. IMA Mangalore felicitated Dr. Suresh Rao the Director of MIO for his contribution to Oncology Care. Following this Dr. Hemanth Kumar, Medical Oncologist spoke on ‘Oncology practice- then and now’. Dr. Venkataramana Kini, Radiation Oncologist spoke on Radiation in Oncology and Dr. Yeseshvi Kilambi, Nuclear medicine Consultant spoke on ‘Role of PET/CT in Oncology’. The program was initiated by Dr. P Sathyamoorthy Aithal , the President of IMA Mangalore, and was attended by more than 120 family physicians practicing in and around Mangalore.
