Church Community Gathers for Life-Saving Knowledge
On 6th July, St. Monica Church, Kumble, took a commendable initiative by organizing a cancer awareness talk for its congregation, right after the Sunday Mass. The session was led by Dr. Hemanth Kumar, Consultant Medical Oncologist at Mangalore Institute of Oncology (MIO).
Recognizing that faith-based spaces offer a trusted platform for community education, the church welcomed Dr. Kumar to shed light on a disease that touches many lives—cancer. His address emphasized:
