From Mangaluru to Kashmir, a bike ride awareness program about cancer was flagged off by Dr. Suresh Rao, Dr. Krishna Prasad, and Dr. Jalaluddin Akbar, directors of MIO (Mangalore Institute of Oncology).
This team of four, including Mr. Yatish, Radiology Technician at M.I.O, will be riding from Mangaluru to Kashmir to raise awareness about cancer. Along the way, they are making efforts to educate people about cancer. Dr. Venkatraman Kini, a Consultant Radiotion Oncologist at MIO, spoke about the importance of Cancer Helpline in creating awareness among the public. The Cancer Helpline has been extremely useful for people, providing relevant information and dispelling misconceptions about cancer. By taking this initiative further through the bike ride, they aim to alleviate people’s fears and dispel any false beliefs related to cancer.
