On 14th March 2025, Mangalore Institute of Oncology (MIO) joined hands with Lions International and Leo Club Mangalore to organize a cancer awareness program at Lions Seva Mandir. The event, themed “Uniting against Cancer: Awareness for a Healthier Tomorrow,” aimed to educate the community about the importance of cancer awareness and early detection.
The highlight of the program was an insightful talk by Dr. Venkataraman Kini, Consultant Radiation Oncologist at MIO. Dr. Kini shared his expertise on the latest developments in treatment of cancer and emphasized the need for regular check-up and screenings.
