Mangalore Institute of Oncology (MIO) in association with Poladavara yane Gatty Samaj Seva society conducted a free Medical fair at Shri GopalaKrishna temple hall at Mudipu, Konaje on 27/11/2022. The program was inaugurated by Dr. Rohan Chandra Gatty, Senior Surgical Oncologist of MIO; U T Khader, MLA of Mangalore constituency; Dayanand Gatty – President of Poladavara yane Gatty Samaj Seva Sanga; Raja Ram Bhat, President of Ammembala sevasahakari Sanga; Santhosh Kumar Rai, Boliyaar – Vice President of BJP; Prashanth Kaajava, President Mudipu block Congress; Mamatha Gatty – Ex President Zilla Panchayat and Chandrashekhar Gatty – Executive Chairman Amrutha Mahotsava Samithi. Dr. Suresh Rao the director of MIO was the Guest of honour. The program was attended by around 150 people of the area and free medical check-up for hypertension, diabetes; orthopaedic, gynaecologic, and ophthalmic issues were conducted. In addition to this, awareness about cancer was conducted. The program was highly appreciated by the participants of the camp.
